From Megori: Hello! I'm the one who did a good chunk of the coding for this layout. Um, let's see...I loved the way Hikari created the banner. As soon as I opened the PSD file, I was like, "WHOA! This is freaking awesome!" and I hope my coding didn't mess up the pretty banner. Anyway, this layout is purely DIV and took approximately twelve hours to code. Yes, I seriously sat in front of my computer (on my day off) for half of the day and did nothing (had a dinner & television break) but code this design.
Um, all of the My Neighbor Totoro images used on this layout, including the freebies, were screencapped by me. It took about another two hours to just screencap the movie and that was after about five hours of downloading it. This is probably the longest I've ever spent coding a layout in one day straight.
From Hikari: Hi! I'm so proud of this layout! I can't belive Megori did all this coding! She certainly worked on this layout a lot longer than me. During the time while we were making the layout, I had to start on this project in school were we create a website, so I had to go and start on a new site. Which I hope I will finish soon after this.
When I started on the layout, I was actually going to go for the a more cool and breezy layout, but I think it was after an hour of so I went straight to a warmer feeling. The style I went with making the banner up there is a bit different from my usual style, but it was fun nonetheless.
About the Layout . . .
The image I used was screencapped by Megori, but because the scene I used was way darker then I wanted it to be for this layout, I played with the color until it fit this layout. Well through out the layout in general I played with adjusting the colors a lot. Oh I also created some extra graphics especially for this layout.

I suppose it could've been created better, but with me working on so many layouts at once, it's kind of hard to squeeze out anymore creative juices from my nearly dead brain.
